Kastellokampos, also: Kastelokampos, Kastellokambos, Kastelokampos, Kastellokabos and Kastelokampos also with the o accented is a famous beach town located 7 km north of the downtown core of Patras in the Achaea prefecture in Greece. The exact population is approximately between 2,000 and 3,000 including the rural population. It is connected with the road with the road connecting the GR-8/E55 (Athens - Corinth - Patras) and Proasteio and Rio, it also connects direct with the old road via an underpass. The Charadros river flows to the south, the University of Patras is to the east along with the GR-8A/E55, the northernmost of the Patras Bypass and the older GR-8 and the GR-5 and the GR-48 northbound. Its length is 1 km from north to south and approximately 2 km from west to east, the Ionian Sea to the west and downtown Rio to the north. The OSE's SPAP rail runs 20 m east of the main road.

The area until the 1980s were made up of farmlands that mainly consisted of olive and citrus groves and several forests as well as others. Housing developments arrived in the 1970s and largely in the 1980s and filled itself with luxury houses that are between 10 to 15 m long. Electricity arrived in the 1950s as well as automobiles, radio and television came in the 1980s. Farmlands are now currently to the west as well as its road to its beach. The main street were later paved. The Rio-Patras boundary is to the southcentral part and its neighbourhood of Proasteio. In the same time, the population transitioned from agriculture to urban and tourism. The total street length is approximately 6 to 8 km.

Street names are named after several major Cyclades Islands.

Kastellokampos has a school, a lyceum (middle school) and gymnasium (secondary school) a church, and a square (plateia). Its nearest hospital (Rio Regional Hospital) is in Rio.
