Kastelbell-Tschars (Italian: Castelbello-Ciardes) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km north of Trento and about 40 km northwest of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,341 and an area of 53.9 km².[1]
Kastelbell-Tschars borders the following municipalities: Latsch, Naturns, Schnals and Ulten.
