Kassina mertensi is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is endemic to Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, swamps, intermittent freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, and heavily degraded former forest.
