Kashiwa, Aomori

Kashiwa (柏村; -mura) was a village located in Nishitsugaru District, Aomori, Japan. On February 11, 2005 Kashiwa merged with three other villages and a town in Nishitsugaru forming the city Tsugaru. As a result of this merger the village no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 5,188 and a density of 362.29 persons per km². The total area was 14.32 km².
