Kaschobenvolk

Kaschobenvolk In 1941 the German Nazis started forceful enrollment of Kashubians onto the Deutsche Volksliste due to losses in the Wermacht. The action had its basis in the beliefs of some Nazi ideologists that Kashubians are descendants of the Germanic tribe, the Goths, who they thought underwent Slavonization.
