Kasam Durga Maa Kii is a STAR One drama Is the story of Durga, a naive, simple girl with idealistic notions. She has been brought up with love and comes from a poor background. She gets married to rich Pawan, the son of Kaur and joins his household. Durga is the friend of Pawan since childhood. Durga loved him since childhood but he never used to love her. He used to love another girl who died in an accident with him. During Karva Chauth, however, turns into a nightmare when she discovers that her husband has an immature mind-the mind of a five -year old, due to an accident, too late to do much about it. Durga’s fight to gain back her lost honor and dignity. Durga’s married life is full of hardships and pain. Her mother-in-laws make the place a living hell. Her husband Pawan loves her, but sometimes mistrusts her, due to other people's misguidance. Durga and Pawan always get separated.
