[edit] Namespace restrictions
You asked in MediaWiki for restriction based on namespaces, see [this set of patches], though they might be a bit buggy. I posted the last 1.6.3 patches (since the other ones were for 1.5.7 and earlier), but I've already found a little bug which I haven't posted new patches for, it is:
373c373 < global $wgContLang; --- > global $wgContLang, $wgUser;
Feel free to update the patch I posted on bug 1924 with this. Enjoy, I'll post a new patch if I find any bigger bugs and thanks to the original author(s) of the patches. 70.24.241.225 01:25, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Subbhulaksmi
You recently added the Subbhulaksmi redirect to the Candidates for speedy deletion category. The redirect seems necessary to me, but if you can explain why you would like for the article to be deleted, I will delete it for you. AmiDaniel (talk) 03:50, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, woops, I just saw the rest of the db tag. I still feel the redirect to be a likely typo and so am not going to delete it under WP:CSD#R2. This should probably be brought to WP:RfD, if you still believe it should be deleted. AmiDaniel (talk) 03:52, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ganesh
Raman
Pl do not revert without discussion.
The section may not be 'well written' in your opinion, but deleting the content completely,is hardly an appropriate response, and can be taken as vandalism, which I doubt you intend it to be.
In the Jat traditions, both Lord Shiv and Lord Ganesh are republican dieties. see Thakur Desraj and R S Joon's books, for starters.
You can access them, online, on the Jathistory website, file ssection. Yahoo iD and membership of forum required.

How long have been at IIS?
Best regards

Please see ganesh discussion page- Republic. If wording needs cleanup,in your view do help.If you are in agreement, and Sfacets appears to be, I would like to see the material posted

[edit] Rajinikanth
Hello, Karthik, about my deletion - you were absolutely right, I deleted soemthing I shouldn't have and I apologize. Going back I don't know what I was after, because everything seemed to be right about the article. I'm kinda confused here, and I think it's because of recent struggles with several other actor and actress pages which are a complete mess. Again, I apologize. --Plumcouch 19:16, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A.R. Rahman
Just to tell you that the anons who are changing the idea of AR Rahman being of Tamil descent are not doing anything worthy of blocking or even warning. As they are not breaking WP:3RR or any other major rules. Is the idea of AR Rahman being Tamil sourced? In the case that it isn't sourced then that adds extra points to their case.
