[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Anime and manga
You are listed as a participant of WikiProject Anime and manga. A recent change in how participants are listed — using a category — will result in your inadvertent removal from the project. [edit] Rozen Maiden
About Rozen Maiden, I wish you would propose splits on anime I have finished watching :) I think that yes, the page could be split but probably into less pages than ToHeart was. The only problem I see is that the Rozen Maiden article has a good flow to it and I wouldn't want to wreck other people's good work by disrupting that flow. It is a pretty well formatted article at the moment.
The ToHeart2 (anime) article needs an in depth paragraph about the storyline and definately some more comparisons with the game and the first anime series. --Squilibob 23:08, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New articles to work on?
Ah I've seen all of Mahoromatic and the article needs a lot of work. The single spoiler tag isn't sufficient where it is for instance. I had left it alone as it already had an infobox. I'm sort of floating at the moment but I'm trying to get back into the habit of adding infoboxes to every page and creating stubs for new articles. I seem to get sidetracked by these little side projects collaborating with one other person on a page until we're both satisfied with it. I'll jump on the bandwagon with any article that you think we'll both work well together on - there are plenty of candidates. --Squilibob 13:26, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- There has been a lot of activity on Anime and I'm glad to see people dissecting and rewording it but for an anime series article, I was planning on expanding Renkin 3-kyū Magical ? Pokān once Froth-Bite release a few more episodes than the three that are out. --Squilibob 14:07, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Case Closed
"1) Case Closed is the official English title in North America only. In Singapore for example, the official English title is Detective Conan. As a result, there cannot be an agreement for an "official English" title."
Not true, by the way. Case Closed is also in use in Canada and the United Kingdom (Gollancz Manga publishes the series in the UK as "Case Closed". Also, are the Singapore editions of "DC" in English?
Also, whenever Chuang Yi (the Singaporean manga company) licenses any VIZ titles, it tends to use the same conventions VIZ uses. E.G. Mirmo! and Zatch Bell! have the same dub names.

[edit] On Aria
The standard is at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (trademarks). "Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules even if the trademark owner encourages special treatment." The issue has been discussed previously on such articles as Naruto and Bleach (manga). --SeizureDog 18:49, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Aria-1-manga-cover.jpg
We need to know where the image came from. If you found the image on the web, we need to known the URL. If you took the photo, you need to say so, and tell us of which issue of which manga this was the cover. -- Donald Albury 16:18, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Japanese
Sadly, I only have a basic knowledge of the language and in no way can I translate full pages like that. So what we can do is you can translate the content and then I'll clean anything up and format it if you don't do that already (or don't do it in a consistent way as with the recent addition of the History section). I'll be glad to be working with you on OtoBoku.--(十八) 00:05, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] To Heart
Sure, I'd be willing to help. Remember it's To Heart now with the space ;) --Squilibob 03:27, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Since you brought forward the CamelCase point I tried to find a copyright tag on some merchandise. I'm restricted in what I can look at and even Google images turns up with nothing besides the copyright beside the logo instead of text like ToHeart © Aquaplus 1999 which is what I was hoping for and would end the debate once and for all. If you find anything like that then be sure to put it forward as a copyrighted name is surely the name we should be using. --Squilibob 06:29, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Episode images
It's not my decision to call. There was an intensely long discussion on the matter which ended with all of the screenshots from all of the episode lists removed. I was not particularly pleased with it either, but the Wikipedia community has spoken and I doubt it will ever change in the future.--十八 20:09, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- I don't believe that it would be useful to place a template there as there are only three sub-pages related to OtoBoku (characters, episodes, and albums). The category Category:Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru takes care of naviagation in this situation.--十八 07:24, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Leafpianocollection-cover.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Leafpianocollection-cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:34, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Rozen-maiden-2-manga-cover.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Rozen-maiden-2-manga-cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Rozen-maiden-2-manga-cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Rozen-maiden-2-manga-cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 14:42, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
