I will move this page to a new title, to preserve the geographic order of cities that this railway will connect, that is, it starts in Kars goes through Tbilisi to Baku, so it's Kars-Tbilisi-Baku railway. Google hits seem to agree on this as well [1] - 437 hits with "Kars-Tbilisi-Baku railway" vs. [2] - 7 hits with "Kars-Baku-Tbilisi railway. Thanks. Atabek (talk) 17:37, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Break of Gauge

Ideally the break of gauge and the main freight transhipment terminal should be at or near the national capital of Tbilisi rather than at a relatively minor border station, namely Akhalkalaki.
