[edit] Notability concerns

I am concerned about the notability of the group. Please read the relevent notability guidelines. Have the group been extensively reported (not just mentioned in passing) in any reliable sources? J Milburn (talk) 17:03, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

I will have a clean up of this article- this organisation is very well known in the 'third sector' of professional and voluntary charitable organisations in the UK.. perhaps the detail is a little overzealous in places though :) Blanchard (talk) 00:57, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

As the grandson of a World War Two veteran living in Cardiff I was interested to note that Karnival had organised a "rag raid" in order to raise money for the Royal British legion. I made a donation on the day and was thoroughly proud of thses students doing such a good job to raise money and awareness for the Legion. I have since trawled the internet to find out how to get in contact with the organisation to thank them for their services. I know this is anecdotal but surely the basic premis of an encyclopedia is to provide information on things of interest. Believe me Karnival is of great interest to many of us in Cardiff. Further more thanks to your site's links I have been able to see just how extensive Karnival's commitment to charity is. I believe its removal from your site would decrease its accessability and notoriety and subsequently hamper their fund raising potential. Finally looking at the speed at which this organisation has grown in the last 10 years I believe that it is only a matter of time before it becomes quite as recognisable as other charities such as the Legion (which I was pleased to note you do have an entrance on) surely there is no point then in removing it before it has a chance to flourish into a much used and highly informative addition to your encyclopedia.212.74.97.195 (talk) 16:45, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
