     THE RORS:
Ror is also a main caste . they claim kinship with the Chauhans. In the time of Prithvi Raj chauhan ( Rai Pithora ) the ancestors of Rors were the managers of the MAHALS(a group of small villages)because of this reason they have a main clan called Mahela desending from tanvar rajput. At present they are the good cultivators as the jaats . They came from badli in jahjjar and had a tanvar rajput as ancestor , they had a chaurasi of villages about pheva , butana, kaul, pundri , nilokheri , nissang , matlodha, safidaon, assand and 12 villages beyond the Ganges . they have obtained property in karnal district exclusively by being settled as cultivators by the original owners gujjars .

the rors are fine stalwart men , of much the same stamp as the jaats. A ror feel elated when accosted as a raja(king).their other clans are jogars descending from chauhan rajput called JOGA and mainly occupying village of kurana ,ghantar from gharval in rohtak holding alupur and neighbouring villages and khenchi from narar jajru in jaipur , holding ahar etc.
