Just a note: I removed 'goose-stepping' from the description of the military parades, as I felt it was needlessly POV (given the common association of the term with Nazism in the English language). Not at all, 'goose-stepping' states for the German term "Preussischer Stechschritt" that was introduced long time ago before Nazi Germany was established. It´s a specail kind of march established by the Prussian kings, also used by other German kingdoms, Nazi Germany and the GDR. No other German state uses this kind of march after the WW II (19:09, 6 May 2006, 85.178.127.67)
