[edit] Airport not disused
Actually the airport is not disused - I only just used it a couple of weeks ago to fly to Harare.
Periodically it's in use,it depends as to whether the national Airline Air Rhodesia is flying in as they provide the only 2 'flashes' of use in a 24 hour slot.When they're not flying in it's deserted.I've watched "groundstaff" complete with their grass slashers disappear from site after moving across to the edge of the runway to "cut the grass"(sleep?,out of sight out of mind!)

I heard receintly that the dam wall has not been inspected since the end of colonial rule. Does anyone know if this is correct? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 151.124.247.200 (talk) 23:13, 28 March 2007 (UTC).
