I know Karen Middleton, and her parents, in a social setting apart from her work, well enough to be on a first name basis with them all. However, I would not presume that Karen would consider me to be a 'friend'. Peter Ellis 03:48, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
I recently met Jim Middleton in a social setting and commented that I knew his namesake, Karen. He commented that, obviously, he knows Karen, and that he had met her parents socially. Peter Ellis 19:29, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
