Im a citizen from karasburg born and bred there. Im reaaly dissapointed to the way my town is deteriorating. Being the gateway to South Africa that really makes me feel the pain. No developments are going on there and the youth is resorting to alcohol and drug abuse. I hope the newly elected mayor is working round the clock to look at various alternatives how to solve these issues. Believe me we are more than willing to take hands with the councillors to overcome this problem. I feel that all of us are eager to work towards vision 2030 but as things are currently i dont think that the karasburg population are part of it.
