Hello Dear Viwers i m aftab khattak from ahmad abad karak its History of karak District History Of Karak District
About 700 years ago the Khattaks Tribe came from Koh Sulaiman (Shawal) Area in the
District Bannu.
» They lived in that Area for about 200 Years. » But due to Tribal Conflicts They came to the Area which is now called Karak. » At the beginning of 19th century the Karak was a Part of District Kohat. » At that Period Kohat and Hangu Areas were governed by Samad Khan, But due to internal mutual Confects This Area came under the control of Sikh government. » After some time Sikh were defeated by the British Government and That Area was than controlled by them. At that time it was a part of Punjab Province and was called Kohat District at that time. » But in 1901, when N.W.F.P was made a separate Province, the Kohat was also declared as a Province of N.W.F.P at that time. » When the Muslims of Sub-Continent started Struggles for an independent State , the People of This Area have played an important Role in that Struggle by Full Participation. And at last when Pakistan came into being on 14th August 1947, the Kohat District was also declared as a part of that State. » Before 1982 Karak was a part of District Kohat, but was declared as an independent District on 1st July 1982 by the government of N.W.F.P because for giving Full support so that it can make progress and have more facilities for the people of that area.
