The film was flagged on January 25,2008. The film already hit floors on February 10 2008. The 90% film is completed in 40 days at South Africa. It is also known that on February 16 2008, Himesh Reshammiya had recorded one song by giving a live performance in South Africa. The sound recording was entirely done in the Singapore. The promotional item song "Tandoori Nights" is currently being shot in Mumbai.

The film is a remake of "Karz" which starred: Rishi Kapoor, Simi Garewal and Tina Munim. This film might be different than the old one. The film is planned to be released in October 2008. The plot could possibly be quite similar to Farah Khan's "Om Shanti Om", which was also based on Karz.
