Karya, Larissa

Karya (Καρυά) is a community in the Larissa Prefecture, Greece, with a population of 1,086 (2001). It is close to Mount Olympus, encouraging tourists' visits. The area has moderate temperatures year round, though in winter snow falls over the upper elevations.
