Karvia

Karvia is a municipality of Finland founded in 1865.
It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Satakunta region. The municipality has a population of 2 875 (2005) and covers an area of 519.82 km² of which 16.50 km² is water. The population density is 5.8 inhabitants per km².
Twin town of Karvia is Viru-Nigula in Estonia since 1994.
