Karumathampatti is a panchayat town in Coimbatore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2001 India census[1], Karumathampatti had a population of 26,162. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Karumathampatti has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 62%. In Karumathampatti, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Jansons School of Business is located here (http://www.jsb.ac.in) Tamilnadu college of Engineering, the first self financing engineering college in Tamilnadu is located here. (http://www.tnce.in/) Nanjappa polytechnic College, Arulmigu Chandigeswara polytechnic college are the two polytechnic colleges located besides Tamilnadu college of engineering campus. There are three Higher Secondary Schools are located.
