Karridene, KwaZulu-Natal

Karridene is a small resort in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is now part of eThekwini. It is named after Walter Karri-Davis a mining magnate who built a sanatorium here for mine workers suffering from phthisis, a respiratory ailment caused by inhalation of rock dust.
