Karoline Herfurth (born 22 May 1984) is a German actress.
She is probably most well known to English speaking audiences for her appearance in Das Parfum, the 2006 film adaptation of Patrick Suskind's best selling novel. The feature was directed by Tom Tykwer; Herfurth played the "Plum Girl", the first victim of Jean-Baptiste Grenouille. She co-starred with Dustin Hoffman, Ben Whishaw, Alan Rickman, Rachel Hurd-Wood, and Jessica Schwarz, another German actress. It was the famous picture of Herfurth with Whishaw in the background that was used vastly in promotion.
Previously to her appearance in this international feature, she had performed in several independent German films and TV projects, especially Girls on Top and Big Girls Don't Cry. She has finished working on a movie called Der Baader Meinhof Komplex based on Stefan Aust's best-selling nonfiction book which is awaiting release.
