Karnıyarık

Karnıyarık (literally "riven belly" in Turkish) is one of the most notable Turkish dishes. It consists of an eggplant stuffed with onions, garlic, tomatoes and mincemeat. Another variant is Imam bayildi which does not include meat, and served cold.
