Karl Warkomski

Karl P. Warkomski (born October 5, 1967) is a former city council member for Aliso Viejo, California and a member of the Green Party.

In 1990 he graduated from UCI with a BS. He finished his graduate work at USC in 1995. He co-founded the company Green Culture Inc., in Laguna Hills, California, in 1994, which he owned and operated until 2003, and where he is still employed as Director of Conservation. Elected to the city council upon Aliso Viejo's incorporation in 2001, Warkomski served as the city's Mayor Pro Tem in 2004 and as the city's Mayor in 2005. He resigned from the council on February 7, 2007, effective three days later, in order to move to accept a job in North Carolina.

He enjoys skiing, yard work, volunteering, spending time outdoors, and is an avid reader.
