Karl Stotz

Karl Stotz (born 27 March 1927) is a former Austrian football player from Vienna.
As a young soldier, he fought in the Battle of Stalingrad, was captured and returned home in 1948. Stotz played most notably for Austria Wien (1951-1963).
On the national level he played for Austria national team (42 matches/one goal), and was a participant at the 1954 FIFA World Cup and 1958 FIFA World Cup.
He later began coaching career and coached e.g. Austria national team.
