Karl Ove Knausgård

Karl Ove Knausgård is a Norwegian author. Born in Oslo on 6 December 1968, he made his publishing debut in 1998 with the novel Out of the World (Ute av Verden). He is winner of the prestigious The Norwegian Critics Prize for Literature and his last novel, En tid for alt (2004) was nominated for the The Nordic Council's Literature Prize.
Knausgård was raised on Tromøya by Arendal, and started an education in arts and literature at the University of Bergen.
