Karine Gambier was a French pornographic actress who worked primarily in Europe for a period of just over ten years (1975 to 1986). Her unbridled eroticism, plantinum blonde hair and fleshy good looks made her a minor sensation for a time. She is perhaps best known for her work in the films of Jess Franco from that period.
Some notable films that she starred in are Franco's Die Teuflischen Schwestern (aka Sexy Sisters; 1976), in which she plays a woman held as a sexual slave by her older, dominate sister; Max Pécas' wonderful Luxure (aka Sweet Taste of Honey; also 1976); Délires Porno (1977); Franco's Der Ruf der Blonden Göttin (aka Voodoo Passion, Porno Shock; also 1977); Franco's Cocktail Spécial (1978) and Erwin C. Dietrich's Gefangene Frauen (aka Island Women; 1980), where she plays the sadistic warden of a women's prison. Her last film to date was the little-seen French Canadian erotic film European Sex Vacation (1986).
