Karin Taylor (born November 28, 1971 in Kingston, Jamaica) is a former fashion model, chosen by Playboy as their Playmate of the Month June 1996.
During her modeling career, she was represented by top agencies throughout the world including: Michele Pommier Miami, Wilhelmenia NYC, David & Lee Chicago, Agence Unique Greece and ICE in Cape Town South Africa. She has appeared on the runway for designer Betsey Johnson and was the last Snap on Tools Cover Girl as stated by the Wall Street Journal.
During her "Playmate" years, Karin had been linked with several celebrities, including Baywatch actor David Chokachi, Russell Simmons, actor Jeremy Piven, and comic Bill Maher for 3 months before he “dumped her” as revealed during her Howard Stern interview. She's also appeared on Malcolm and Eddie, Weird Al Show, Keenan Ivory Wayans Show,and Baywatch in addition to guest hosting on E!.
Taylor was a former spokeswoman for POWARS, Pet Owners with AIDS Resource Service, an organization which helps people suffering from AIDS to keep their pets.
After leaving the entertainment industry Taylor started a new career as an interior decorator and event planner by opening Style House in Haverford, Pennsylvania. During this time she made numerous appearances on HGTV and her wedding invitations have been featured in Elegant Wedding magazine.
Taylor is now the mother of three children, including twin boys, and lives with her children in Palm Beach, Florida.
