Karin Laasmae

Karin Laasmae (born c. 1980), a model from Estonia, is the winner of the 1998 Miss Globe International, held in Istanbul, Turkey.
After her victory, besting 36 other contestants, she competed in several more international pageants. In the 1999 Miss Hawaiian Tropic International in Las Vegas, USA, she finished first runner-up. Later on in the same year, she was sent to London, United Kingdom to compete in the Miss World, where she reached the semi-finals.
Later on, she went on to pursue a career in modeling.
