Karin Knapp (born June 28, 1987 in Bruneck, Italy) is an Italian female tennis player. She was ranked world number 35 on February 25, 2008.

At the 2007 French Open, her first ever Grand Slam tournament, she reached the third round in the singles event, beating 22nd seed Alona Bondarenko. In the 3rd round she lost to 14th seed Patty Schnyder of Switzerland 6–4, 1–6, 5–7.

At the 2007 US Open, she defeated Chan Yung-jan to reach the second round where she lost to American wildcard Ahsha Rolle.

Knapp reached her first WTA Tour final at the 2008 Proximus Diamond Games. She lost there to world number 1 and home favorite Justine Henin, 6–3, 6–3.

She continued her impressive run to the French Open 3rd round in 2008, losing to top-ranked Maria Sharapova 7-6, 6-0.
