Karimba

Karimba (Postal Index Number 678597 India) is a small village in the Palakkad district of Kerala State in India.
Connected by Kozhikode (formerly known as Calicut - Airport Code CCJ - 67 km) and Coimbatore (Airport Code CJB - 79 km), Karimba village is situated on National Highway 213 between the towns of Palakkad and Mannarkkad.
Kalladikode mountain is in this village. Meenvallom waterfall is in this mountain. The government of Kerala is planning to build a small hydroelectric project near this waterfall. Karimba is the place with the highest amount of rain in the Palakkad District.
