Kari Motor Speedway is a purpose built auto racing circuit or race track, situated in the outskirts of Coimbatore, India. The track's length is currently 2.2 km. It was inaugurated in 2003 [2], in memory of Late Shri. S. Karivardhan or "KARI" as he was affectionately known.

The long stretch of the present track was originally a runway for Power Gliders,as it was part of a Ultralight aviation manufacturing company owned by S.Karivardhan.The long stretch was also a popular venue in late 90's for Drag racing.In 2002,the land was purchased by the current owners and a purpose built track to conduct National Motorsports events was constructed .The track was inaugurated by G.K.Sundaran,the father of the late Motorracing legend S.Karivardhan.

The track regularly conducts the National Championship races for go-karts,Motorcycle road racing and formula (car) racing events. A racing school is conducted by former F3 Champ and current A1 Grand Prix Team INDIA's Akbar Ibhrahim. Starting from 2006 Indo-Srilankan championship season has come into effect with the inaugural race held in this track.

The category of cars that race in this track are the Formula Maruti, Formula LGB, and Formula Rolon Chevrolet.The track is also approved by CIK and FIA to hold races up to Formula 3 category. The Motorcycle category includes all Indian makes.

The Track is also rented out to Automobile companies for testing purposes, Motorcycle clubs and Indian Automobile Magazines use this track for various tests.The track also acts as a test track/proving ground for various Indian automobile/parts manufacturers.
