Kari Gjesteby (born 1947) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She was personal secretary to the Minister of Administration and Consumer Affairs 1974-1976, state secretary to the Minister of Education and Church Affairs 1976-1978, and to the Minister of Finance 1979-1981. Then, in 1981, she was briefly Minister of Trade and Shipping, before serving as state secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs 1986-1988 and Minister of Justice 1990-1992.
