Karhu is a Finnish beer brand brewed by the Sinebrychoff brewery in Kerava and Pori. It is a pale lager with a strong taste. The brewing of Karhu began in 1898 and in terms of market share, it has become the most popular beer in Finland in the last few years. Currently there are three beers with different ABV's. The most popular one is Karhu III (4.6%). There is also a Karhu A with an ABV of 5.3%. The label on the bottle depicts a bear, which is also the meaning of the name in Finnish.
