Karen R. Harris is an educational psychologist who has researched the development of learning strategies and self-regulation among students with learning challenges such as learning disabilities and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Harris has authored over 100 publications in educational psychology. She is the editor of the Journal of Educational Psychology and has received the Distinguished Researcher Award for Special Education Research from the American Educational Research Association. She is currently the Currey-Ingram Professor of Special Education and Literacy at Vanderbilt University.
