Karen Dianne Baldwin

Karen Dianne Baldwin, (born September 6, 1963, London, Ontario, Canada) was the winner of the 1982 Miss Canada and Miss Universe pageants -- one of 2 Canadian women to win Miss Universe. The other being Natalie Glebova who won Miss Universe 2005. Baldwin was also the first Canadian winner of Miss Universe. She was crowned Miss Universe in Lima, Peru and then relinquished her crown to Lorraine Downes the following year in the United States. She later hosted The New You, a Canadian fashion and lifestyle television program.

Both Baldwin and the second Canadian Miss Universe winner, 2005's Natalie Glebova, attended London Central Secondary School in London, Ontario.

Baldwin was one of the co-hosts for the Miss Universe 1989 pageant that was held in Cancun, Mexico.
