Karaipaakkam is a village in Kanchipuram district in Tamil Nadu, India. The village is one of the stops on the Old Mahabalipuram Road.

Karapaakkam which is a part of the Greater Chennai, home to a number of BPO and IT/ITES companies and also the facilities of almost all major IT/ITES companies like Scope International, Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture India, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Photon Infotech and Infosys are situated along the IT Corridor.

Riverside Mall is also planned to be constructed here by MARG Infrastructure.
