The Seven Kingdoms of Karanda (Delchin, Ganesia, Jenno, Katakor, Pallia, Voresbo, and Zamad) exist in David Eddings' fictional world of the Belgariad and Malloreon. They lie to the northeast of the eastern continent, from the north temperate latitudes north beyond the arctic circle. They are vassal states to the Mallorean Emperor.
The River Magan originates in Katakor, and is also fed by Lake Karanda via the River Jenn. It is the longest river in the world.
The Karand people are among those (along with the Morindim, Melcenes, and Dals, and formerly the Ulgos) who are called the Godless Ones. They are stereotyped as uneducated and backward, and demon-worship still thrives in some areas.
