Karalmanna

Karalmanna is an Indian village(Nila river basin) in south Palakkadu district of the Kerala state. It is well connected from Cherpulacherry and Perintalmanna - Calicut route by road transport. Karalmanna is a "Nation of Kathakali" (Kathakalida Nadu). Kottakkal Sivaraman, is an Indian Kathakali exponent was born and brought up here. He rewarded from kerala fine arts saba, Trivandaapuram (dated on 3/4/08). Karalmanna Shivashetram is one of the very oldest famous temple.Naripattra Sivan, is very famous in playing the traditional Kerala Drum known us MADHALAM. He is also belong to here.Naripattra Raju, is an Indian kathakali exponent was also born and brought up here.
