Karakaj (Serbian Cyrillic: Каракај) is town located 2km north from the city Zvornik in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The town is home to around 8500 citizens.

The population of Karakaj is 100% Serbian.

Karakaj have his own football club Known as FK Radnicki Karakaj.
Generally the people who were born in Karakaj are fans of FK Partizan Belgrade while most of the Serbian refugees are believed to be fans of FK Crvena Zvezda Belgrade.

Karakaj's Technician School Center (TSC) is a well known school which has won prizes in many sports and education events. A number of well known and respected professors work there like MR. Vinjak and MR. Popic.

In this area you can find many Serbian Orthodox churches, few beautiful bridges, the river Drina which is great place for a swim, and the untouched nature. But what is most popular, and world wide famous is Karakaj graveyard, thousands of tourists coming here every day, and some decide to stay here forever, this is great place if you plan to rest in peace.
