Karachi Area Control Center

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Karachi Area Control Center is located at Jinnah International Airport, near Karachi and is one of two Air Traffic Control Centers in Pakistan. The primary responsibility is the separation of overflights, and the expedited sequencing of arrivals and departures along STARs (Standard Terminal Arrival Routes) and DPs (Standard Instrument Departures) for all of southern Pakistan, including some portions of the Arabian Sea. Certain exceptions include military airspace and lower-level airspace controlled by local airport towers and TRACONs.[1]
