Kaprain is a city and a municipality in Bundi district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

As of 2001 India census[1], Kaprain had a population of 17,766. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Kaprain has an average literacy rate of 54%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67%, and female literacy is 39%. In Kaprain, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
