Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women's & Children

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is part of Hawaii Pacific Health's network of hospitals. Kapi'olani Medical Center is Hawaii's only children's hospital with a highly trained team of physicians and nurses and specialized technology to uniquely care for children, from infants to young adults. State's only 24-hour pediatric emergency room, pediatric intensive care unit and adolescent unit.

Queen Kapi'olani endowed her legacy with the motto, "Kulia I Ka Nu'u" or "Strive for the Highest," a phrase that captures the organization's mission as well today as it did more than a century ago. Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children continues the queen's mission to strive to improve the health and well-being of women, children and adolescents.
