Kapandriti (Greek, Modern: Καπανδρίτι, Ancient/Katharevousa: Kapandrition/Καπανδρίτιον) is a town and community near Marathon in the north of Attica in Greece. Kapandriti is linked with the road linking Nea Makri and Kapandriti as well as with the service road and Afidnes, Kapandriti also serves a road north to Kalamos. The area around Varnava are surrounded by olive trees, pasture farmlands, grasslands and are hilly, pine trees dominates southward in the mountains north of the Marathon Dam, farmlands are in valley areas and the mountains also cover the northern part. The South Euboic Gulf covers the northeast and features Varnavas' nearest beach. Kapandriti is located north-east of Athens, east of GR-1/E75 (Athens - Lamia - Thessaloniki) and north of Rafina.
Businesses are the most popular industry in Kapandriti, agriculture dominates the outskirts and Mikrochori Kapandritis. Housing developments came in the 1990s but slowly boomed. Other larger settlements around Kapandriti include Mikrochori Kapandriti (pop. 372) and Ágioi Anárgyroi (239). Límni Marathónos formerly was inhabited but is now abandoned. Two monasteries lie north of Kapandriti.
Kapandriti has a primary school(nursery), school, a lyceum or a middle school, a gymnasia or a high school, banks, churches, a post office,Department of Court House,Police Station,Fire department,Elder people meeting club,First Aid Medical center,Large sporting Hall,Town planing dept,lots of shops and a few squares (plateies).
