Kaolin is a French rock band with various musical influences, performing mainly in French. Their style ranges from post-rock to power-pop.
They remain firmly rooted in their native region, Auvergne, where they work on their music in the town of Montluçon.
During their career they have worked with les Valentins, Paul Corkett (The Cure, Placebo) and Dave Fridmann (Mogwai, The Flaming Lips, Weezer).
They released an album, called Mélanger les couleurs , in September 2006.
