[edit] Hey there!
Yup, this place is kind of addictive ;-) I am 1/3 at work, 1/3 at Wikipedia and 1/3 at A.cc. Will be finishing some articles about Dragonlance and some j-pop music, and then will likely take a break. Nice to see some allegroites around! -- ReyBrujo 05:00, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
- Have I missed anything of value on allegro.cc? -- kanzure 05:01, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] XPI
It's actually mine. It got renamed Tab No X after about 15 minutes, and you can find it on Mozilla Addons. It got discontinued as the functionality was included in Firefox after the alpha releases. ColdFusion650 18:56, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Transhumanism
Please discuss major edits of the Transhumanism article on the the Talk:Transhumanism. Also, please avoid original research. --Loremaster (talk) 02:55, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Move of Transhumanism2 to user space
Hi, since you created Transhumanism2 to work on in lieu of the actual article, I have moved it into your user space. You can find it at User:Kanzure/Transhumanism. Aleta Sing 22:57, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'd really prefer it to be out in the open and not so intricately attached to my name when others are editing it. And yes, there is the expectation that others are editing it (there's a few people probably eyeballing it at the moment). -- kanzure (talk) 23:09, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- You can't have a repeat of an article in mainspace. That's why it needs to be in userspace. Alternately, you could just discuss things on the article talk page. Aleta Sing 23:23, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Aleta, I and a few others have had repeated troubles editing the transhumanism page; discussing the edits has historically not helped - it's because of a few trolls guarding the article from edits that don't fit their opinions. And I've been told that admin help has been attempted but never has anything really changed, there's still that 'edit-block'. So the alternative would be to ideally get rid of the trolls so that anybody can edit and help make the article better. Throwing it into my userspace doesn't help the situation: I was going to split the article so that the trolls can get their article to play with, and then everybody else can have another article (as meant on Wikipedia) to edit with and improve. -- kanzure (talk) 23:52, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, Kanzure. I empathize with you about trolls. You can not create a troll article and a real article though. That doesn't fly. Take a look at WP:CFORK. Aleta Sing 23:55, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- So the compromise is to let the trolls keep their troll article and stopping edits? Bah, I need to go find an admin. -- 00:36, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, you've found an admin. Now, I looked through the article history some, and I don't see where you've tried to add stuff to the article except once yesterday, nor do I see much discussion on the talk page. I don't understand your troll comments. Perhaps you could explain the problem a bit more? Aleta Sing 00:57, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
