[edit] derbyshire-geo-stub

Argh! You've destub'd them all! You're leaving us nothing left to do!? Bob aka Linuxlad 17:24, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

I've destubbed the ones that were approaching Featured Article length. Still 118 of the little bleeders, though, if you're feeling busy. Kanthoney 17:42, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Nah! I'm busy making new ones in the county next door ('the best bits of Derbyshire are in Staffordshire...') Bob

[edit] Destubbing

What is your criteria for destubbing? – ClockworkSoul 14:36, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

If it's not a stub, I destub it ;) Actual criteria depends on which category I'm going through, but if it's more than a couple of paragraphs it's a candidate. Kanthoney 14:56, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
I'd like to reemphasize ClockworkSoul's comments. Don't destub articles that aren't longer than a few lines, please. Image:Weather rain.pngSoothingR 15:06, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
I'd also like to emphasize those comments. Chang (beer), for example, is a stub by almost anybody else's standards (including, I'd think, the guidelines at Wikipedia:Stub); what would your criteria be for considering this a stub? --Dvyost 16:12, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Heineken isn't a stub, IMO, since the basic information is there, and it would require more serious research to expand it. Maybe a request for expansion would be more appropriate? Dutch beer and Chang (beer) were over-zealous, sorry. If I try this again I'll be more careful. Kanthoney 17:20, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
I agree that Heineken isn't a stub, but try not to get over-zealous in your project. Stubs serve a useful purpose, and removing them from stubby articles does more harm than good. – ClockworkSoul 17:25, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
