[edit] Proto-Kaw

Just a thought but should not the Proto-Kaw entry be given a complete life of it's own and the repeated information here be removed. Leaving this entry with a single sentance of explanation and link through to the PK article. :: Kevinalewis : please contact me on my Talk Page : 10:04, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Box

The box is in serious need of updating, and I don't kknow how to do that. Ragsdale is an alum and Steinhardt is back in, and the box should reflect that.Scottandrewhutchins 00:11, 16 July 2006 (UTC)Scottandrewhutchins

The box is accurate as of this writing. Steinhardt left this spring, Ragsdale rejoined in his place. It's there in the article, and confirmed at Kansas' official website. Carboncopy 00:38, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
I felt sill for making the change after I read it.--Scottandrewhutchins 03:59, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Former members

Shouldn't there be a list of former members? I don't know them all. Tim Long 05:04, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I believe all the former members are mentioned in the text. Is a separate list necessary? Carboncopy 12:37, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Lists are included for most band articles, so you don't have to search through the article for them. The list will have the members, what they played, and their years in the band. Tim Long 20:43, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Alumni (former) band members are listed in the box at the bottom of the article. Buzzard Joe 19:31, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes, but the box doesn't give their instruments or years, as most band articles do. Tim Long 00:49, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Robby Steinhardt

I've made a stub for Robby Steinhardt, since there needed to be one. I haven't done one for Ragsdale, because I think it would be even shorter. --Scottandrewhutchins 04:01, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Best Of Kansas

I was always impressed by the booklet that came with 'The Best Of Kansas'. So it was great to see that most of the things on the booklet were discovered.

But there's one thing missing: Audio-visions certainly HAS a part on the booklet, although it's hard to find. On the back side you see, right under, a metal hand holding the curtain. That metal hand certainly looks a lot like the hands on audio-visions. I was so free to add this information to your the page. If you think I'm not correct, just remove it.

[edit] Kansas - Device Voice Drum

Does anyone know what this is? It doesn't make a lot of sense, it either needs to be removed or expanded into something that does make sense... trolleymusic 23:58, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Looks like vandalism/experimentation to me. I have removed the section. Device,_Voice,_Drum has its own article anyway. The information that was here under this section is about a totally unrelated Animusic production. Carboncopy 21:00, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Follow-up: I tracked down the Animusic / Device,_Voice,_Drum connection; seems Animusic did some animations for the album. I was not aware of this. I have added the information to the Device,_Voice,_Drum page, rather than here, as that seems more appropriate. Carboncopy (talk) 15:13, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] DaVinci-like old man on the cover

Is John Brown, the abolitionist, as depicted in a mural by John Steuart Kurry in the Kansas State Capitol. http://store.kshs.org/store/product.php?productid=16257. John Brown started his abolitionist career in "Bloody Kansas", a locus of the fight against slavery before it became a US State

New to Wikipedia editing, hope that someone else can fix this reference to the 'Da Vinci-like old man' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.235.111.220 (talk) 00:37, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

WRONG! Not from the Kurry mural, though this is featured on a different album cover. SORRY! How to delete completely? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.235.111.229 (talk) 00:43, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
