Kanvir Bohra comes from a rich background. He used to be an actor on the hit soap opera Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He was also an assiatant director before he took up his acting career.

Kanvir's favorite colors are red and yellow. Manoj does not hate any color. Manoj says that his biggest strength is his family and his wife and all his friends and his biggest weakness is that he's not organised. He said he plans to get organised when he gets married. There were questions asking him if he was sure of marrying Teejay and Manoj told them that he was 100% sure.Manoj says that he's a pure vegetarian, he does not smoke and does not drink. He likes to meditate and have good food and he also does not like to have a lot of junk food materials.Manoj has one sister who's married and is now settled in USA. Manoj's big time into spirituality and says it helps him meditate.

He is from a filmi background. His dad Mahendra Bohra produced the latest release Ek Hasina Thi in collaboration with Ram Gopal Varma. He started his career on television as an assistant director to BP Singh for CID and later for Achanak 37 Saal Baad. He also played Saloni's boyfriend in Just Mohabbat. In KKusum, he played Nakul, a rich spoilt brat who is in love with Kali. He has immense hatred for Kkusum's daughter, Kumud. He also did a serial called Shararat as well. He has also modeled for Chlormint, Levi's, BPL, Fun Republic, Frooti. He was also there Kkussun, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. For a few weeks he anchored a show with his Kasauti co-star Tina Parekh but due to other commitments he had to leave the show.
