Kanumolu is a village in Bapulapadu mandal of Krishna District in Andhra Pradesh, India. It's very near to Hanuman Junction, which is at cross of NH5 and State High way 224. Kanumolu's population is around 3000. Most of them are Farmers, they cultivate Paddy. Surrounding villages are Perikeedu, Aarugolanu, Muralipuram and Dantaguntla.
This village has lot of ponds(small lakes). It has two twin ponds. One couple of ponds are located in the middle of village one(Brahamala Cheruvu) serves drinking water for the entire village. Another(Chepala Cheruvu) is used for cultivation and fishing. The common bank of these two ponds is planted with lots of coconut trees. And the water tank is loacted at the same place. Every one should see this place who likes to visit this village. The other couple of ponds located at the end of village they are only for cultivation.
This village has two major temples Ramalayam and Sivalayam. Ramalayam is the big, people use this as marriage hall. And Sivalayam is on the banks of another pond(Lingala Cheruvu). There are many other small temples.
Primary and High School are located back to back. High school also has one more pond which is only accessible to school children for gardening in the school. School has very big play ground in 15 acres.High school founded in 1947. One upper primary school is also there. All these schools can accomidate around 600 students. On the borders of this village Intermediate(+2) and degree colleges are located in same campus founded by Chinta Sheshagiri Rao (ex President of this village).
